Making AI Accessible Without Dumbing It Down
Most no-code chatbot builders sacrifice capability for simplicity — producing bots that feel like decision trees dressed up in AI clothing. Querlo Studio needed to break this tradeoff: give non-technical users a genuinely easy experience while supporting RAG knowledge bases, API integrations, and multi-step automation under the hood.
The UX challenge was immense. The platform needed to handle three distinct user types simultaneously: marketing managers building simple lead-gen bots, operations teams building complex internal knowledge assistants, and developers who needed escape hatches into raw configuration.
Each user type had different mental models, different success metrics, and radically different tolerance for complexity.
